What’s new in multiplayer beta?

Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3 brings multiple new aspects such as the ones below. The game’s full version will be released simultaneously across Sony PS4, Microsoft Xbox One and PC platforms on 6 November. Newer aspects of the current multiplayer beta include Maps, new game modes and an upgraded arsenal.

Maps: Gamers get to check out three new maps that will be present in the final version of the game. These maps are said to provide fast-paced combat and multiple play-styles. The new maps are:

  • Hunted: Xbox One and PC users get to check out a new hunting lodge that is situated beneath a waterfall in the lush mountains of Ethiopia consisting of rugged terrain. Gamers are required to traverse long sight-lines and stealthy underwater paths as well.
  • Combine: Set in the remote Egyptian Sahara, this vertical farming and sustainability research facility plays fast and frenetic with tight interiors, an open middle and a dangerous flank path.
  • Evac: An abandoned emergency evacuation zone atop an overgrown rooftop in the middle of Singapore’s flooded quarantine zone.

Newer game modes:

Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3 multiplayer beta brings along newer gaming modes. These include traditional Call Of Duty modes, as well, that fans of the gaming franchise should currently be familiar with.

New Gaming modes:

  • Team Deathmatch
  • Hardpoint
  • Demolition
  • Domination
  • Kill Confirmed
  • Capture the Flag
  • Search and Destroy

Specialists: Specialists are elite soldier with distinctive personalities, look, voice, level progression, weapons, and abilities. Each Specialist’s weapon or ability can be earned throughout a match which will deliver critical tactical opportunities, whether it be a boost in agility, a powerful explosive bow, and more.

During the progression of the beta, gamers will have a chance to try any of the six Specialists already announced, as well as two brand-new characters: Battery and Spectre.

New upgraded Arsenal:

With the arrival of new Specialists in the multiplayer beta, newer weapons such as assault rifles, shotguns, sniper rifles, pistols and launchers are introduced, and can be tried out. The multiplayer beta will also give fans a taste of the new Weapon Paint Shop feature, which lets players create custom graphics with up to 64 layers to be displayed across the top and sides of their weapons.
